Video game music turned into remixes

I notice this and it doesn't make it bad. Some music gets remade into later games and it may even in some cases sound better than the original version. If you think about it, just about every franchise does it at some point or another. Why that happens is because the particular music is popular and it's not a surprise to redo it. What I'm going to is look at some themes or a game for that matter. It might be remade theme wise and all the way around but it is still enjoyable regardless. Music may not make the game but it doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt to sound good as well.

Castlevania 2 Bloody Tears: I have heard many different versions of it in some games. Take for instance in some of the later ones after Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest like Super Castlevania IV, Dracula X, a soundtrack on Castlevania: Bloodlines, and some fan made videos on Youtube completing the task. I know there are other versions out there but these are some of the main ones that I have heard based upon playing the games or even looking on Youtube once in a while.

Ninja Gaiden Trilogy: Anyone recall the themes on the Ninja Gaiden games? Mostly they were redone on the Super Nintendo though it may not been as liked as the NES Version. This however was a case of it not being a complete transition and liked all the way. It happens and you never know if it's going to work or not. I suppose if the game used the actual music from the NES or even made it sound better on the Super Nintendo, it would have probably gotten a better reception.

Super Mario All Stars Games: Mostly this had a case of remade music that sounded just fine actually. The music was perfect for it and there's really not a lot that can be said about it. In short, you basically had the remade versions of the original Super Mario themes from their respective games. Though Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels has the same music as the original Mario game; it is also enhanced probably from the previous game.

I know other games have done but mainly wanted to focus on that. It's generally a case of either being a hit or a miss. In most cases it works but there are a few exceptions as documented. I don't see this trend going anywhere but in fact I see it going on even more.
