Tips for electronic music production

best value. Microphones vary drastically in price, only you know how much you're willing to spend however and you therefore want to get the best your money can buy. Don't just go for the most expensive microphone, try a number out and see what sounds right, even ask for advice from others if that will help. If you have friends creating electronic music also then ask them, gage peoples opinions and by all means use the Internet to do this also. Friends can not always provide the answers but with the Internet you have access to like-minded people from all over the world, seek people out and obtain their advice and opinions, read reviews, test microphones personally and really make an informed decision before you commit to a buy. Choose the wrong microphone and your electronic music may be let down in the vocal department, choose wisely however and you could end up making something truly special.

There are many tips that can be offered for creating the best electronic music possible, everyone has their own idea of musical perfection however and it's therefore all about taking your musical influences and using them to your advantage. The more eclectic your musical taste happens to be, the better the sound you will produce as all the more original you will be. So many sounds can be created electronically, over the years I've tried out many different styles and approaches; some have worked out for me whilst others have not. You learn from your mistakes, and if at first you feel that you fail then never give up. With electronic music the longer you stick at it the more you will learn and the greater your sound will become. I was terrible when I first started out, there were times when I thought I'd never succeed, I continued at it however and worked at my sound until it was the best it possibly could be. Others have helped me hugely in producing electronic music to the utmost of my ability, my best advice is to always have fun with the music that you are creating whatever that sound may be. Always make music that you enjoy, produce electronic music that sounds good to you and if others like it also then that's just an added bonus.
