Is your glass half full or half empty?
Surely if it's half empty, there's a whole other half that can be filled with Positivity. If your glass is always half full, then the desire to fill the other half with anything at hand can be overriding. And sometimes it's filled up with Negativity.
There has to be a Yin-Yang of the mouth.
However Negativity doesn't just come from words. Facial expressions, demeanour and general countenance can give away your most treasured Negativities. But in general when someone is being Negative it is the words they speak that get remembered. I don't know how many times a particular ex-friend of mine would call me to 'talk'. I use the term 'talk' very loosely because what usually ensued was a bombardment of Negativity from her to me. I eventually ended the relationship after many months of trying to help her regain some composure. If someone doesn't want to be Positive then all the words in the world count for nothing.
My father used to say to me "you're at your best when you're fighting up from the very bottom" So if that is the case then bring on the bottom and lets have another round!
But before then, a few words of Negativity that maybe should be avoided. Or at least whispered.

Zelotypia...because Jealousy is the mother of all Negativity.
Negative words have one of two reasons for being. The first is to convery a particular emotion. But the ramifications of this can be far reaching and damaging to those closest. The second, and as far as I can see the most important, is to allow others to wallow in Negativity as company. Don't moaners love to have a willing ear? I know I moan sometimes but I'm not good enough at it to make a career out of it like some people. In fact.....

"words, words, words, words, There isn't a word I haven't heard!" Part of a song from My Fair Lady. Sung by Audrey Hepburn to Freddy, a cloying and insistent Amour, much to her annoyance, because what she wanted meant more to her than words.
Sometimes the unspoken is far more audible than the spoken.
