Movie reviews: The Da Vinci Code

location of the Holy Grail and in the process Sophie gets to know her true identity as a direct descendant of Jesus Christ through her Sangreal' French Blood line. Only Robert discovers the real location of the Holy Grail.

This movie is a real world mover. If taken seriously, it can change the very core of Christianity and the modern world. The movie claims that the Holy Grail is actually Mary Magdalene who was the wife of Jesus Christ. She was the true heir of Christianity and not peter upon which the foundation of the church would be established. The movie even claims that Mary bore Jesus a child whose descendants live up to this day and are protected by the priori of scion. Its main evidence of this is through the painting of the last supper by Leonardo Da Vinci and in the statement where the eyes sees what it wants to see. The person in the painting who Christians in many circles refer to as John is actually Mary and that there was no wine been shared. It also claims that the bible is a product of a meeting organized by emperor Constantine counsel of Nicaea that Made Jesus both man and God at the same time and created the belief in the one true God versus the believe in many gods that was splitting Rome into two thus combining pagan beliefs and Christian beliefs.

This movie therefore presents a thought that Jesus was never God based on historical facts'. Whether true or not, Robert concludes the movie by giving his testimony of a time that he was in the well for a whole night and survived by praying to Jesus Christ and states that it makes no difference if Christ had children or not "That's up to you to believe what you want to believe" He tells Sophie but this movie surely raises some questions about what truly is faith.
