Uncertainty
A sea of blue envelops the city,
A blue, heavenly and deep
Stars glow as light reflects from sand
Light emitted from the wondrous globes,
Makes everything seem significant.
They travel the nighttime sky
Looking down on everyone.
The city below sleeps
Dreaming dreams of wonder and deceit.
Are they moved by this spectacle of magnificent things?
Do they imagine a greater sight?
Do they comprehend the meaning of the dream they see?
The Sky hugs the buildings
Keeping the city safe and warm.
The stars are like eyes now
Fixing their gaze on the people.
Watching them, always watching.
Though the sky seems to be never constant
There is a sense of security in this world of uncertainty.
