WHAT MAKES A FAMILY BIND
What is it, about family
Causes folks to bind
Is it that we're related
Has it to do with time?
Perhaps it's the daily hugs
The special, I love you
Warm smile,loving words
Think that sure helps to!
How about the bad times
Those glares, the ugly words
Times you don't like anybody
The family sucks, and worse
What keeps this group together
Through all the good and bad
Is it from the examples
Set by Mom and Dad?
How about the family
One parent does reside
Are they still an example
The kind that make a bind?
What about the family,
Grandpa and Grandma raise the kids
Not always easy, but that's the way it is
A family unit with same gender
They can have love too
Not for me to judge
Neither should you
Every family unit
Unique, like you and me
Accepting of each other
It's the way that, it should be
It's this kind of love that binds
Makes a family unit strong
Lasts throughout the years
Unconditional love,makes ties strong!

It with words
Of scissors

You can mend
It with words
