DEATH PENALTY GETTING A BAD RAP

The death penalty sure is getting a lot of bad press lately. We hear and see that criminals are more viscous and commit more heinous crimes and this news seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. What is causing this increase? Is it computer games or drugs or what? The prisons are filling up and the bleeding heart liberals want to treat them like children that are misbehaving.

These criminals are killing wonderful people in so many cases it is destroying our very fabric of civility. We are still trying to be civil and that is not deterring the criminals at all. The criminals are overjoyed at our treatment of them and they are not likely to change any time soon. The Supreme Court is debating that the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment and the poor thug might be in pain as the death penalty is carried out. Who cares? That is such a waste of time for the high court. What they need to discuss and correct is why does it take 20 years to carry out the death penalty, it should take 20 days or even 20 minutes.

When the crime is so heinous and gross that it is hard to imagine how someone can be so cruel then the death penalty needs to be swift and hopefully painful. Ask the families that are loosing loved ones and have to live their lives with an enormous emptiness that is so painful each and every day. Some say the death penalty is not a deterrent but I beg to differ, it definitely stops that one from committing any more crimes.

What is the main reason that bleeding heart liberals and others don't want the death penalty? Do they think this person is not going to die? Do they think being in prison for life is a terrible punishment when they have ended the lives of wonderful people? I think these disgusting excuses for human garbage have given up there right to have a meal, watch TV or any other activity. They have chosen to end someone's life and deprive them of living then do the same to them and cancel the rest of their life. They are not going to live forever so cancel the balance of their life as they did to someone that was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
