There are many variations on this recipe, and having tried many - here is one that I think is AWESOME!

Ingredients:
2 Package Cream cheese
2 Cups Sour Cream
1 Cup Shredded Parmesian Cheese
1 Clove Garlic
1 Jar Artichokes
1 Can Spinach
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan. Finely chop the garlic and heat 3-5 minutes in the oil over medium heat. Add the creamcheese, 1 package at a time until it is completely melted. Add the sour cream and parmesian cheese and cook until mixture bubbles. Drain the fluid out of the artichokes and spinach and add both. Mix well. Pour the mixture into an oven safe baking dish and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve with pita chips.
This dip is a hit at parties!
