I look in the mirror to see just a reflection of me. A plain 40's woman, nothing special
see. Walking out the door, I see my make-ups a mess, but who cares, who could I impress?
I go to the store, the woman sneer at my looks, they don't take the time see my hearts quiet
brooks. I smile regardless of their shallow thoughts, I know they, too, have had these
feelings fought. As I go on with my mundane day, enter the elevator, with a man in gray.
He speaks to me cordially, kindly and then, he looks into my eyes and gives me a grin. The
doors open wide, he looks in my eyes, and smiles at me genuinely and gives me a wink.
