America Mat is perhaps one of the most versatile soundproofing products on the market today. It is basically a closed cell vinyl nitrile foam that is used to soundproof automobiles, trucks, motor homes, campers, generators, air conditioning compressors and a host of other soundproofing applications.
America Mat is used to quiet noisy serve units in computer/server rooms, it has the power to both block and absorb sounds. It is also very effective at stopping vibration that comes from heavy machinery that is transmitted into the machine housing and out onto the shop floor or office spaces. I had one customer tell me it was the first time he could hear his wife while driving the motor home. I am not really sure if he was happy about that, but the reality is simply this, America mat works to stop both engine noise and vibration in today's homes on wheels.
