Norton 360 has been the one single name that many PC users will not forget, simply because Norton 360 does more than just protecting your computer from viruses and spywares. Thanks to Norton 360, you can be assured of a good night sleep even if you have computers running for 24 hours.

If you have switched platforms from XP to Vista like myself, Norton 360 works on both. When you have important data to protect, Norton 360 does it the very next minute you installed it on your new PC or OS upgrade. What I liked particularly about Norton 360, is that it comes all in a box. This simple compatibility puts an end to atrocious waiting time for other security suites to release their Vista-compatible versions, or even the lengthy mailing time required for some other softwares. So much so for efficiency, but Norton 360 has more to offer than the conventional security suites available.

As for user-friendliness, you will be glad to know that there are no major differences from Norton Internet Security 2007. For a first-time user of Norton 360, I am glad that the controls and functions were like procedures I have done since a long time ago. This similarity ensured a smooth transition between the two softwares. A direct resultant of this is the reduction in time required for the IT department to do advisory and guidances. The employees were used to Norton Internet Security 2007, at home and at work. Hence, switching over was a breeze.

As for protection, I am impressed on the layers of defense Norton 260 provides. With the technological boom, cyber-threats are increasingly disrupting processes at work and also the safe usage of internet services at home. Instead of just generic function of anti-spywares and anti-viruses, Norton 360 took it a step further with protection ranging from anti-phishing to online identity protection.

Phishing and online identity thefts have been in one of its highest peak in recent years. Introducing these protection into Norton 360 is a perfectly logical move. Armed with databases of massive individuals, having these information fall into the wrong hands can spell absolute trouble. It is due to this fact, that Norton 360 is the only viable option for all my PCs.

Other layers of protection like Transaction Security comes in extremely useful when personal data and passwords have to be keyed. Each of these protection modules has their own individual list of tools and diagnostics, making customization of Norton 360 extremely easy. Even though I am not an
