no alley ways or backyards
Taxi cabs and pedestrians

Diesel fumes and smog
Broken hubcaps and stray dogs
News paper pages in the gutter
Tin cans rolling in the clutter
Behind the wheel, behind the glass
Will you see us, who shall pass?
Burning brakes and rubber tires
Telegraph poles and overhead wires
Traffic lights and traffic cops
Blowing horns and railroad stops
Tractor trailers blocking view
Delivery vans racing through
Green lights, red lights, waving hands
Racing cars and mini vans
Bicycles, couriers and motor bikes
Interstates, toll booths and turn pikes
Freeways, on ramps, exit lanes
Bridges, viaducts and charging trains
Crosswalks, subways on our feet
