A slow running computer is easy to detect. The screen freezes, crashes, a webpage can take much longer to load than previously, simply the computer does not want to co operate by functioning in a normal manner. The computer's own internet options are a good start for those wanting to prevent slow activity. The internet zone should be set at medium high or medium at the minimum. This is so that the blocking of third party cookies that are effectively stored on your computer without your consent.

Computer user's should be able to surf online responsibly, if a person has a set of trusted and well respected websites. The problem is when a person by visiting a unknown or untrusted website that when downloading files, or entering information, then the computer all of a sudden becomes much higher risk of slowing down and malfunctioning. Common sense when obtaining e-mails from other people and companies. Trusted e- mails should be opened without much problem. Spam messages and from unknown senders should be deleted without fail.
