"The Seeker of Truth"

I've been a seeker for so long.
Searching for words to build the song.
Stopping for souls along the road.
Adding a bit more to my load.

I've always lived for what is right
Leaving the dark side for the night
Shutting my heart out to the lies,
Hidden in smiles, such sweet disguise.

I've been a pawn in a game of chance
Giving up all for a blind romance
Now finding myself in the room alone
No one to adore upon the throne

Somehow your life can be rearranged
Inside a world that is quite deranged
Hoping like hell that I can surmise
What is the truth, what are the lies

So when I lay my head to sleep
Hoping that life will become complete
Rubbing my eyes in the early dawn
A fresh new day makes me feel so strong

Now that I know that I must rely
On inner strength to get me by
