How web search engines work

Everyone wants to know how search engines work to learn how they can make their website appear in higher results to make more money!

The truth, the absolute truth is there is no magic formula to know hoe these monsters work and no one knows for sure.

It's a secret locked with seven keys to prevent people from taking advantage over others.

I think that only the best employees know and just a little bit how it works.

Google boasts they have billions of variables deciding which webpage is more useful to the user.

In my opinion Google has still a very long way to run before being a real good search engine. They are lucky because Yahoo and Microsoft are just not as good as they are so they take good advantage of their position and get lazy.

When I submitted my website to Google and checked the Webmaster tools, I couldn't believe that Google couldn't find all my$ pages! How can the "best" search engine in the world so bad? Even worse! They say they give the incoming links more value in measuring the value of a webpage and in spit of having hundreds of sites and forums linking to my site, Google couldn't find one! Not even just one!

I really start doubting about the quality of those engines. You can get sometimes pages just full of junk and Google treats them like Gold.

Microsoft Live Search Engine is even worse. I almost doesn't have a good result for any keyword no matter how deep you search. And they say they will catch up Google. Well, at least they are ambitious!

Yahoo on the other hand seems to be very good. They always give the the results I want and they never failed once with junky pages!

To rank higher is search engines focus on the user all the time. It's the user that must like your page, not the engines, it's the user that will buy the products advertised, not the search engines.

Make a perfect webpage and soon you will find that the traffic you get comes not only from search engines but also from many places you never imagined they existed.

I recommend using Wordpress to build the site. It's the best and most used publishing tool.
