Poetry: Lift The Veil
I sometimes wonder when life shall end for me,
I anxiously await the time when God shall reveal it;
Of that day and hour knoweth no man,
For our Father in Heaven hath chosen to conceal it!
I sometimes feel unworthy of everlasting bliss,
I know I allow my soul to dwell in Satan's den;
I shall overcome all evil with God's help,
He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End!
I have lost many things while on Earth:
Father, Mother, Brother, Wife, and Child. All have left me for dead!
I am not foolish enough to believe I alone have suffered!
For Christ once asked, "The Son of Man hath where to lay his head?"
Some may choose to resent God after failing a trial of life,
Never understanding why man must stumble and fall;
I choose to believe that God is fair and just,
I understand that life is utterly cruel unto us all!

Dead is the woman whom others think thrive.
No love in her heart. No tears does she cry.

Staring at your hazel eyes
This blankness i see

Rarely your eyes blink
Or shed a tear
Never have
I died today
inside my dream
full of chaos
and misguided trust
I stood along a busy street
and got hit by a bus
Deadly pain,
Hidden behind a fake smile,
Choking sobs,
Hidden behind false laughter.
Pain hidden so well,
It's barely felt.
