Alarm clocks serve us every day,
yet we hate them all so much!
On time, whether work or play,
we could not be as such!
Some just ring and ring,
while some play a song.
But one thing they all share,
is we sorely treat them wrong!
We smash and bash,
push, pull and smack.
Curse and want to throw them.
But keep in mind,
next time you reach,
to beat the sound away.
That if your clock did not go off,
you'd sleep your life away!
