Tattoos are a beautiful form of art. Many people nowadays are artists or like to sport artwork. Tattooing is a great way to do this. Most of the tattoos have meanings behind them that are dear to the one who is sporting them, so this is how they can hold it close to them forever is a cool way.

A few months ago I had a daughter, this past weekend, I went and got a tattoo. I got a baby laying on a moon and a Neo-Japanese woman looking up at the moon and she has her hand on it. I got this tattoo because I love my baby and she is the one on the moon and I am the woman. I am not Japanese or anything, but the Neo-Japanese work is so beautiful and I have other tattoos that are Japanese based, so I wanted to continue the trend.

I believe in finding great artists and sporting their work. The man who did my ink is from France and he is a fantastic freehand drawer. He basically just did the outline on my arm and went from there. All of the detail was put in as he saw fit and he just freehanded ink into me, but I cannot tell you how beautiful it is, or how wonderful of an artist he is.

Everyone loves to be beautiful and so many people see art as a form of self expression, so why not get permanent artwork on yourself. It shows originality and most of the true artist or people being inked are classy with the way they show off their artwork. Trashy artwork seems to be only done just because and the artist is money hungry.

Fashion is art too, but there are different kinds. Clothing, shoes, and hair are not permanent, which alot of people like and it is always evolving, but some people want more permanent. They want to be able to hold on to and treasure something forever, so people are looking more to the artsy side of fashion and inking is definitely artsy and self expressionate. This is why it is becoming such a trend. I also believe that this trend will never die, so go out and express yourself, whether it be through clothes, hair or ink, just have fun with it! Live on the edge, and just remember to get something meaningful and not on a whim, because it does last forever.
