How cell phones create new issues of public rudeness

Everyone knows that mankind is rude. There are real people all over the world, regardless of age, sex, race, disabled, or anything. It is just in our genes. Some people show the effects of the gene more than others. Many people with the rude gene mask it and pretend to be nice. I do not believe it matters, as long as people do not act rude.

People are rude in many different ways. They will bud in check out lines at the store, not give other people a chance to talk, call people names, cut them off on the highway, run into people without apologizing, not hold doors, talk with food and their mouth, and countless other ways that annoy others.

Some rude people are just rude and do rude things to other people on purpose and even brag about it, like immature little kids. Some people are rude and do not even realize it. It does not matter whether the person intended it or not, it is rude either way. Not realizing it is rude is being rude in it and of itself.

Cell phones have created many new issues of public rudeness. They are the newest way in which people have found to be rude. I'll just name a few different ways in which cell phones are being used rudely.

First off is a way that I have described in other articles about cell phones. That is the use of cell phones in the movie theater. Most theaters have signs posted or other notices that tell moviegoers to either not bring their cell phones to the theater or to turn them off during the movie.

If they want to make a phone call during the movie, they should take their phone outside of the theater and make your phone calls out of earshot of their fellow moviegoers. This is the polite thing to do but many moviegoers with cell phones do not heed this warning and continue to use them and be rude to their fellow moviegoers.

The cell phone users will sometimes turn their ringer off, which would prevent others from hearing the distracting rings of phone calls that they receive. However, this does not resolve the entire distraction problem because some people will talk on the phone during the movie. Just turning off the ringer only prevents a few seconds of distraction from occurring but the actual talking on the phone can take several minutes. Some people will even talk on the cell phone for a majority of the movie. It makes no sense because why do they buy tickets to see a movie, yet missed the whole movie because they are talking on a cell phone. This is illogical and, not only rude, but stupid too.
