Reflections: The Myspace Age

Ok just the topic i wanted to write about (myspace) lets see myspace a veary popular but also dangerous site. me personally i think there should be a age limit with myspace acounts i think the age limit should be 15 and up and that they should be monotered i dont think myspace is doieng ENOUGH to protect the safty of children yes it gives them the option of not allowing adults to add them or message them or having to know there last name to make any contact with them but key word here is OPTION i personally have a myspace and i use it for my friends only and i have seen other peoples myspace as young as 10 who lie about thier age and say they are 16 to me myspace i snot doieng enough i have seen young girls half way expose them selves. so myspace can do alot more like if a child under 17 wants a myspace they must give an adults email address so that the parents can be warned what there child is posting and saying and who they are talking to this would be a big help. I think that when a child below the age of 17 has a myspace they MUST have there securities settings HIGH meaning they must have thier acounts set private thier no one at the age 18 can contact them etc. so that people wont be able to mind screw these kids. Another way that myspace is affecting the generation is that tooo many kids spend to much of thier time on myspace thier life is myspace they do nothing but sit around all day and talk to stranger whom they dont know. but myspace is not a bad site mysace has its posative side myspace helps people stay in contact with thier familly and friends etc and also lets you meet new people all around the world and learn about new music. I perosnally enjoy myspace every now and then but sometimes it gets abit much. It seems that todays chatroom sites are just opening the doors for online predators. Like i said above that parents should be informed about what thier children does or says and who they are talking to because now we have adults pretending be a young kid and talking to younger girls and pretending to be soo understanding and then the girl goes out to meet this person and what do you know its not a young boy its a predator but we can stop that from happening myspace..tom...just tighten the securities a little bit more. and another thing i almost forgot to mention was that the fact that some kids like to go on myspace at school which affects thier academic learning "well the school blocks myspace" haha kids are smarter now and can now overide the schools securities settings..not that hard anymore
