Movie reviews: Catwoman (2004)

always lands on her feet.

George Hedare ( Lambert Wilson ): President of the Beauline company, George is not a nice guy, he likes to cut corners he will do anything to make money. Fed up with his wife he enters a relationship with the new face of Hedare, Drina.

Laurel Hedare ( Sharon Stone ): The 40 year old ex face of the Hedare company, she comes across nice enough but seems to be very jelous of new face Drina and all other women. Her husband pays little attention to her but he should have kept a close eye because his nice sexy wife has a darkside.

Tom Lone ( Benjamin Bratt ): The copper and Patiences boyfriend as his name suggests he works alone. He saves Patience from falling from trying to rescue a cat, he is fasinated by Patience and her sexy alter ego Catwoman.

Peformances:
The on screen performance was well done by all the actors each and every one bringing something great to the film.

Halle Berry was excellent she brought a new side to catwoman, she fits the role perfectly and wears the leather suit with flair. The fight scenes were brilliant with Halle herself doing most of the action herself. Her cat personality was truly astounding every little detail was there from landing on her feet, playing with cat nip and of course her purr and hiss. The whip work was exceptional too all done by Berry.

Ben Bratt was great too. As the film progresses the film he slowly discovers who Patience is though at first he doesnt want to believe it, he was exceptional throughout especially in the scene where he fights with catwoman. A good performance.
Sharon Stone was brilliant, by now we know what to expect from Sharon and in this film she lets us know how good she is, she gives out hints right from the start that she is angy with her husband and during the film her darkside becomes more and more apparent leading up to the dramitic climax.

Lambert Wilson is really the guy you love to hate, during the film he acts brilliantly. From being cruel to Patience at the start to ignoring his wife you just dont like him. His body language was best of all he walks so smugly he crushes everyone else around him with his cruel personality and thats before he says anything. He speaks like hes better than you and you know it. Marvellous stuff.

Special Effects:
The special effects are great in this film, everything looks marvellous, the fight scenes where great with the camera moving all around capturing all aspects, in my opinion the fighting was just as good as the matrix not as spectacular
