"What Happens Here Stays Here"
Jhordyn McFarland's head ached. She didn't remember much of what happened the night before. Yes she did. There was the party at the hotel with her best friend Kendra. There were those drinks that she couldn't remember the name to, and there was the guy that hung out with before she blacked out. What was his name?
"Jhordyn baby. Are you hungry?" Jhordyn heard a voice. It was a sexy voice. She remembered the voice.
She put her hand to her head and slowly started to open her eyes. She was in her hotel room. She sat straight up in her bed. She realized immediately that she shouldn't have done that. The room spun and her stomach turned.
"Welcome to the land of the living." The voice said.
Jhordyn's eyes focused. It was the guy from last night. What was his name?
"You don't remember anything do you?" He asked.
Jhordyn just looked at him. He was about six feet tall. He had beautiful brown eyes, a voice like Morris Chestnut, a smile like Denzel, and a body like LL Cool J. He was almost too handsome for words. What the heck had she been doing the night before?
The guy sat down on the edge of the bed next to her and handed her a cup of black coffee.
"You'll need this." He smiled.
"Where's Kendra?" Jhordyn managed to ask. She didn't want to think about what she might have done the night before.
"Kendra is fine." The guy said. "She's next door with her husband."
"Husband?" Jhordyn asked. "I thought they weren't supposed to get married for another three months."
"He came out here last night and they eloped." The guy said. "Don't you remember anything? You were there. You helped to plan the whole thing."
"Oh my God." Jhordyn said. She looked up at the guy.
"I'm Kendra's cousin, Donovan Williams. We've been hangin' out all night long." The guy said.
Jhordyn looked down to make sure her clothes were on.
"Don't worry." Donovan grinned. "Nothing happened. And you were too drunk to do anything anyway."
"Oh my God." Jhordyn repeated. Now she was embarrassed.
"Jhordyn it's cool." Donovan said. "Just relax. We'll be here for a while."
"Why?"
"Because you booked this room for two weeks." Donovan said.
"Was I a complete fool after the party?" Jhordyn asked. Trying to remember anything from the night before
"No you weren't." Donovan said. "You were pretty cool."
"OK, then why does my back hurt like crazy? What was I doing?"
"I guess you don't remember the tattoo?"
"The what?" Jhordyn nearly screamed.
Donovan grinned again. He helped Jhordyn get out of the bed and took her to the bathroom. She picked up the hand mirror that was on the counter and turned around so that her back was to the large mirror. She lifted the small mirror with one hand, and lifted her top with the other. Donovan smirked as he watched her reveal her flesh. He was there with her when she got the tattoo.
Jhordyn's eyes grew big as she saw the large tribal tattoo along her lower back.
"What the heck did I do?" She whispered to herself.
"It's cool baby." Donovan said. "You held my hand when you got it done."
"What else happened last night?" Jhordyn asked as she put the mirror and her shirt down.
"Nothing." Donovan lied. "After the tattoo, we came back here and you crashed hard."
