How to protect your email and files on your computer from prying eyes

Email and files are somewhat easy to spy these days. No you don't have to be James Bond or have any secret agent equipment.

All you need to know is some basic computer hack programs and how to use them.

But this article will not teach you how to make evil. It will teach you how to protect yourself from evil hacker that try to steal your information and money.

First let's see how do they work and how can they enter in your computer/castle.

The easiest technique is using the E-mail. They send you an email talking about how you can make a fortune online or how you can get access to porn websites for free. They ask you to download an attachment that contains a virus. When you run that application the virus will be installed on your computer and then the email senders will enjoy a happy information hunting!

Another technique they use is to send you to a website that will ask you to make a download to get something "special"! Little you know that the "special thing" is a real nightmare. The operation is almost the same everytime. You open a contaminated file with a virus.

Once the virus is installed on the computer it will start to make serious damage. It can spy your computer activity such as the websites you are visiting, your email messages, your passwords and much more.

How to prevent such thing from happening? Norton installed and updated is a must. This anti virus will kill every single piece of code designed to harm you. I know it's a bit expensive, but it's worth the price, I can tell you.

Next install a very good anti spyware program. Spy Sweeper is the best so far. Spyware is a bit different from virus and their only purpose is to spy your computer.

A virus that has permission to be installed on your computer trough a .exe file you downloaded is hard to catch. The most important guard of your computer is you. All the time. Never download files from suspicious websites, never accept "cookies" in form of photos, games, videos, links and much more, never accept invitations to members only pages.

Keep in mind that those guys must make money in order to live. They have to eat, they have rent to pay and they make a living stealing money from innocent people like you.
