* Tabbed Browsing: This allows you to open links on a website in background tabs. No more opening multiple browser windows just to fill up your task bar. Shortcut: Hold CTRL while clicking on a link, or even click the middle mouse button. Tabbed browsing makes it easier to find those pages you were viewing.

* Popop Blocking: Firefox comes with a built-in popup blocker. You are notified of a blocked popup by the icon displayed in the status bar. Also be notified at the top of the page with an information bar. After a popup has been blocked, you can choose to show it and allow popups from the current website.

* Privacy: Firefox keeps track of cookies, downloads, history, data entered into forms, and more. You can clear any of that information via Options. Also prevent annoying javascripts from showing extra things that you don't want, for example, scrolling text in the status bar, hiding URLs for links, etc.

* Toolbars: Customize your toolbars how you want them. Create new toolbars if you need them.

* Plugins: Before visiting any websites, it is a good idea to install plugins first, to insure you have everything you need to fully view some websites that require certain plugins. * Download Manager: Firefox has a built-in Download Manager. There are many options to choose from. Cancel a current download in process, remove a completed download, etc.
