It would be nice to know the emphatic truth about what happens when we die. Having knowledge of what happens though, would it change our perspective or be detrimental to the life we have to lead? How many times does mankind debate these question's in our daily lives with others and within ourselves; the many conjured visions from the pulpit to the many prophecies, the results of ouija boards, and the supposed ability of mediums, feeding and conjuring new perspectives with reality and conjecture.
The more society grows and advances the greater the thirst for this knowledge and an answer to this age-old question. Presently today we have many programmes devoted to this topic and it holds people spell bound for days after its airing. How many people went through the box offices over the film Ghost, the mesmerism of The Matrix' (something that holds me in awe with over eighty parallels to scripture), or the cases for investigation through mediums on and off the screen. I sometimes wonder if we are coming to the end of life as we know it just by these revelations and these endless questions sown, daily events that we see around us fulfilling prophecy, or that the Mayan Calendar written four-thousand years ago and ends in 2012, has predetermined all worldly events to date; yet somehow does not give us the answer either?
Considering the above and two stories related below has over the years brought me to a knowledge and belief that there is something happening that happens when we die. Unfortunately or in some cases we are tied by and can only trust whichever religion we follow and that it contains an element of truth. The differing religions being as diverse as the crossing over, where we will find that the truth was in all of them and is impossible for there to be one truth other than the realisation we will experience when we arrive there, that we are all one. Sometimes life places events in front of you that changes perspectives from traditional concepts.
The process of dying is in the authors thinking much the same as the birth into this world; we are moulded and shaped spiritually in the physical body and the body being the womb of development. That all experiences no matter how long or short in this world once complete gives way for the birth into the next realm, which we commonly accept as heaven.
