What happens when we die?

What Happens When we Die?  I think this is a question most people, irrespective of religion, will ask themselves at least once in their lives. It would be nice to know the emphatic truth about what happens when we die.

Having knowledge though of what happens, would it change our perspective or be detrimental to the life we have to live? How many times does mankind debate these questions in our daily lives with others and within us? With the many conjured visions from the pulpit and many prophecies through religions? Results of Ouija boards coupled with the hypnotic ability of mediums? Feeding and conjuring new perspectives with reality, conjecture and false hope?

The more society grows and advances, the more alienated we become to one another, creates a greater thirst for answers and knowledge of this age-old question. Today there are many schools of thought and applications published about this topic which holds people spell bound and in awe for day’s even weeks or a lifetime after its airing and publication.

How many people went through the Cinema box offices over the film Ghost? Or watched the mesmerism of The Matrix' (something that holds me in awe with over eighty parallels to scripture), a very clever script? Mankind is screaming out for answers through these mediums, yet if our eyes were open we can see closer to home a much greater convincing truth.

I sometimes wonder if we are coming to the end of life as we know it just by these revelations and these endless questions sown, daily events that we see around us seemingly fulfilling prophecy. In the last fifty years deciphering of the Mayan Calendar written four-thousand years ago (approx) and ends in Dec 2012, has evolved and catching the attention of many. It has surprisingly predetermined all worldly events to date through its structure; yet somehow all of these things do not give us the answer we seek.

Considering the above and two stories related below, has over the years brought me to knowledge, and a belief, that there is something that happens when we die. Unfortunately or in many cases we are tied by and can only trust whichever religion we follow and that it contains an element of truth. The real truth is we can only hope and sometimes that hope is given an insight through actual events.

I hope the following two stories will explain that there is a truth to be seen as it has done for me. That it is impossible for there to be one truth other than the realization we will all
