Where writers find inspiration

Where a writer finds their inspiration will depend on the writer and no one else. Writer's can find inspiration anywhere. The street they live on and the even from their very own lives. Emotions themselves can be an inspiration to the writer.

When you are happy the words flow with flowery descriptions filling the page. The stories that you tell can be full of the impossible dreams being realized. There are trips to the country that help the visualization of scenes that you can not create without living. When you are sad you tend to write more emotional pieces. The pages are filled with things that bring tears to the reader's eye and make you feel their pain.

A family reunion can lead to new characters for a story. There are those relatives that you have that will stand in the corner and gossip. You will know every detail of the characters you are creating; the stories they stand and tell will expand in your mind. The funny thing that happened to them on the way to the store will be expanded and embellished when you put pen to paper.

Children can inspire a writer. They do the cutest things and can say things that will embarrass you. Children have a gift for honesty and they have not yet learned when not to say those honest things. These uncomfortable situations can be turned into a nice lesson and the writer is just the one to write this lesson for them. Turning these moments into stories for your children to show them what they did and teach them that respect and manners are important can be beneficial to the both of you.

A cup of coffee can lend itself to inspiring a writer. The writer can sit with their coffee and think about the world around them. The world around us always offers something; who knows the musings that are made over a cup of coffee can turn into something wonderful or insightful to make others think.

The landfill can even provide inspiration to a writer. Looking at a hill filled with trash doesn't sound like much but it can lead to writing about recycling and lifestyle changes. Landfills can make one aware of problems in today society and the writer can turn this into informative writings for the people of the community.

A writer can find inspiration in the world around them. The simple act of taking pen to paper to pour your emotions out onto paper in a diary can be an inspiration to a writer. Your life story can unfold before your eyes and you can find thousands of stories in you day to day life you never realized where there.
