Attracting free marketing strategies for your business

Free publicity and advertising is essential to inform customers about your business and to help you determine and find your target market. You can have the best product or service in this world, but unless you know how to inform potential customers or customers for free, you will not build your business fully . I will offer you some free ideas to obtain the publicity and advertising you just cannot afford to pay for, and make a profit in your business. l. Write a news release to customers and websites interested in your products or services. Let's say that you are a book publisher and you have just released a new book, titled "How To Succeed In Your Small Business Today". You would want to sent a release to all the small business magazines in the country, and around the world. A news release is a notice to others that your book is available, and you can list the contents of the book, and why readers would benefit by the book. But, keep the news release factual, outlining the basic features, and do not make it a sales letter, it simply is a release of information about the book. This is free, and many magazines and web sites will use it in their future info releases. 2. Send your sales people or key employees to speak to business people and businesses which can use your product. If you are selling books or information, you can also give seminars on your special products, and how they can make money for your potential customers, or invite some of your present customers to come to the seminar at a reduced or free, offer to let them, see and hear more about your new products. 3. Write articles for magazines and websites, which are related to your specialty to showcase your knowledge and experience in the field. Nothing is more powerful than to have your customers see your article featured in the top magazine of your field. You might get paid for the article, but the publicity and advertising will be worth more than the payment for the article. 4. Collect the names and addresses of your customers, and people who inquire to you by mail, or by contacting your website. This is called your house list, this is one of the most important elements of your business. Find the names of customers who are "Heavy Users" of your product or services, and offer special considerations and pricing to keep them buying from you. Success means handling your house list to build your business. Summary. Use all 4 of these free publicity and advertising ideas, and find which ones work for you. Keep using the ones that build your sales, and makes you profitable and successful. You may know you product or business, but your customers and potential buyers must know more about your company, products, services, and how you can provide they will valuable services in the future.
