water. It helps if it is flowing in a good direction for your property but that is another lesson.
So head for higher ground or a higher structure on low land and look for water in the low spots!
Feng Shui is about tapping into the beneficial energy your environment and bring into your house. Good feng Shui works from the outside in not the inside out. Remember Feng Shui actually means wind and water and does not refer to interior attributes. If the land is bad not healthy, with no ability to collect qi, then no matter what you do inside you can not have good feng shui. The land is the most important aspect! Tap into the resources of your environment, harness the qi from the outside and bring it into your home or office and life will tip in your favor!
What else should I be looking for?
Look at the vegetation on your property. Is it healthy? Are the large trees straight? Do the roots flange out so that the trees are balanced and can breath and grow properly? Do the grass and shrubs always die in the same spot? The healthier and better tended to your garden, your land is the better feng shui you will have. It is call borrowing qi or borrowing energy from your neighbors. The best garden in the neighborhood tips thing in your Feng Shui favor.
