Exploring the effect life on other planets would have on religion

This question is interesting to ponder if we all believe in God. God to many Christains, loved us so much that He created us in His own likeness. That one statement can lead to a lot of interpretation if we look at it in several ways.

One being that we humans are lucky because God made us, our physical features just like His. Or He may have made us like Him in other ways, like all- loving of others or maybe all- knowing of what is "right and wrong".

If we believe any of these concepts, we have to believe that there are other beings out there that have something else to contribute to another aspect of God that we are not- at least I believe that due to my readings of the Bible. The Bible for Christains is not specific as far as what "likeness" we are to God specifically. It doesn't say it specifically because it is a parable (story) and not what actually happened. It may also be called a parable for another reason, we as humans interpert, we do not truely know what God means because if we were to truely know, we would be perfect, therefore, we can't know since we are not perfect.

We as humans do strive to know and love all people, however, if God could make a world so vast like Earth with a lot of different looking people and a lot of different thinking and speaking people, I would be more inclined to believe that God has made a lot of different worlds as well. I'm only human, and I can't be for certain because I'm not perfect (which to me would be all-knowing), but I believe there are others out there that have many other interpretations of what God is... whether it is a human concept or not.
