1- Create a new folder and put something inside. Folders are one of the most important things about computers. They organize all the files and information you have in the computer. There are folder and then if you create a folder inside a folder you get a sub folder that is exactly the same as a folder, just inside another.

After creating the folder and putting some files like documents inside it, zip that folder. Now it's smaller and ready to be archived or to be sent by e-mail.

2- Create a new e-mail account. E-mail is the basic communication between everyone on the internet. When you want to create an account on any website, you need an email. When you want to make money online with Adsense or any other advertising program or system, you need the e-mail. When you want to send a message to someone, you use the email!

Go to hotmail.com and choose to sign up. Fill the forms properly and choose a strong passwords. It should contain numbers and letters as well as upper case and symbols.

Now you are ready to start sending messages. Send a message to someone you know. He will be happy to know that you have email right now!

3- Install an anti virus on your computer. The computer holds too much information to leave it unprotected. Installing an anti virus will reduce the risk of getting the computer infected with potential threatening virus. After all almost everyone right now accesses their bank account using the laptop!

I use Norton Antivirus. It's the most powerful anti virus available and I guarantee it will protect you computer very well. It might be expensive but it's worth the price, trust me.

You should run it at least once per week. Although it has real time protection it's better to check from time to time if there is something in your hard disk that is getting ready to attack.

Also check if your firewall and anti spyware is running properly. Unfortunately virus are not the only threat on the computer world right now. Zone alarm is the best Firewall while Spy Sweeper is the best anti spyware. Spy Sweeper is not free but you should try it for 30 days and decide if you should buy it or not.
