trouble, or conflict brews in the immediate or distant horizon.
Their make-shift Palestinian settlements have become breeding grounds for terrorists and jihadists cults, attracting these extremists groups like magnet to their squalid camps. In Lebanon alone, there are 12 refugee camps for fighters like the al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Fatah al Islam, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other radical factions to gather and recruit fighters and martyrs to replenish their vicious schemes for suicide bombings and other blood-curdling attacks on the civilized world.
With the failure of Arafat's secular Fatah or the Islamists of Hamas to secure any plausible signs of peace, development or a modicum of prosperity in the newly established Palestinian state of Gaza and the West Bank, Arab youths, already disillusioned with their unfortunate station in life, and facing a bleak future and no hope for a better tomorrow, turned readily to their religion and their Muslim brotherhood for comfort, meaning and sanctity in life. In no less a predicament as the Jews as when they were first persecuted by Hitler, Arab youths began to embark on a passionate mission to amass praise and heroism from their own people, and in the name of God to becoming willing victims of self-sacrifice and martyrdom in hopes of procuring honor for themselves and their families, and a better life in the next world.
A neutral observer can only suggest the following solution:
The Arabs and the Israelis must put aside their past animosities and differences to come to the rescue of the Palestinian people's plight. The world at large, Arabs, Muslims and Israelis are all born of people no less human than the Palestinians. It is unconscionable upon the human heart and mind to see their fellow man suffer such grievous catastrophe and misery while everyone wallows in wars of words and violence, over their individual rights to land and their megalomaniac pride. Land was created by God for all its inhabitants, and it is incumbent upon the intelligent species to safeguard and preserve its legacy, and to live in peace and harmony among themselves.
UNRWA (the United Nations Relief and Works Agency), Jews, Arabs, Muslims and the world community must make a conjoined effort to help the Palestinian people resettle into their newly-established Palestinian state and permanent home of the West Bank and Gaza. This is the least that a world of civilized people can do for their fellow humans, who have been made to suffer and to be traumatized by man's own selfishness and egoistic self-worth, for as long as mankind have learned to walk, and arguably, to think.
If this man-made tragedy is left to fester and to vegetate, then one can only imagine a finale where skilled axe-craftsmen and brilliant scientists all stood ringside watching, as groups of kindergarten-level fighters sparred, each having at his disposal weapons created by the spectators, and one group shouting to the other, "If you have a hundred axe to slaughter me, I have two hundred to butcher you", or "If you have a hundred atomic bombs to annihilate me, I have two hundred to obliterate you". And so the world will come to an end - as imbeciles and morons rule our earth!
