Is the Bible Trustworthy?
Why does this question arise about the most historically ever-researched book of mankind? A book or compendium of books ever compiled with other supportive material available but not included? Despite the many translations, be it by language or different phrasing; it is the most proven writing ever to go under the scrutiny hammer and yet despite proof is the most questioned and most debated. The key to these deliberations can be found locked into the personal insecurity of man and his need to control rather than be controlled.
The Bible despite its contents is used as a key to acknowledge personally between yourself and an unseen creator that you are anything other than physical and is a step toward explaining one's spirituality; a means to try and state unequivocally ones origins and there is something better at the end of a road less travelled.
It is a very necessary means for many people to understand where they came from and our final destination. It is a trait of mankind to have answers to events he cannot understand. To have explanations to balance his inner guilt, to acknowledge how inferior he is in the face of the great cosmos and a subconscious submission that something or someone is looking after him.
So is the Bible Trustworthy? In the light of what is written above the bible cannot be trustworthy. Why you may ask? Simply put, because the Bible is used as a tool to explain mans version or translation in an hour of need or manipulation. This explanation is supported by the many translation away from the original, that's if we can at all determine and accept what is the original. It cannot be trustworthy because the translation that is fed mankind is just that, a translation with a twist.
So is the Bible trustworthy? In a historically researched unequivocally confirmed history book/s, yes!' There can be no argument, it contains the progress of man through the various ages of stone, bronze and iron ages, it covers the many wars for domination of a planet, it contains the fundamentals of law and order, it has instruction for perfect farming. Above all it carries an inspiration from somewhere other than from us, which is locked into folklore throughout the many ages of understanding in confirmation.
The origins of the scripts from the beginning are locked in a time we cannot understand or even try to comprehend. We have evidence by way of constructions in this world that even today's machinery cannot emulate, and through the hieroglyphs
