Why baseball is a dying sport

Baseball is not a dying sport because if it had been, would people still be attending games in the first place? That is something that needs to seriously be looked at and talked about a lot more. The media does not seem to be in favor of steroids yet seemed to be okay with it beforehand or however long it has been going on. It does seem to be riddled with what is called the steroids Era and Bud Selig being hailed as the steroids Commissioner in the league.

Until the day that baseball sees complete empty stadiums and no money generating for these huge contracts given to those making $20 plus million a season, then it can only be truly classified as a dying sport. If steroids couldn't do it, then what could perhaps be the one obstacle that could do it?
Making an odd prediction, it would not be out of the imagination that fans would still appear even if it had been found that Major League Baseball had been rigging games just so super heavyweight market teams would compete in the World Series every single year. Do not take that as fact but merely just as a hypothetical guess and nothing more.

The perception of dying would have to involve one that is losing popularity as you also not just the Major Leagues but also on the professional circuit being the minor leagues.
There is still baseball and to this day will be a sport that will always have some new people watching as some could either get frustrated with watching it or just simply lose interest, which is a possibility.

Sports have had some type of scandal but there seems to be a way to get back in terms of having popularity return. Major League Baseball had a strike in 1994 but it would result in fans leaving. It was a black eye due to what was perceived and still is to this day called greed. It was 1998 when the great Home Run chase brought in some fans whether they were returning or some new faces. Ironically, after that it would be looked upon as part of the steroids era that is going on to this very day.

Basketball had that shortened season but they are still kicking getting some new fans. Even Hockey can recover after the lockout that cancelled their regular season. Though it wasn't the most popular sport in America, the point was that it can recover and it's always about overcoming an obstacle.

If you check its pulse, you will see that baseball is still breathing. There will always be some form of it in existence whether you believe it or not. If anything, it is going strong and will do so until something unforeseen happens.
