The Space Between
Maliciously he defiles with contempt and in pleasure takes
Affronts human decency as my spirit he then mutilates.
The instinct of preservation simultaneously combusts to create
A ferocious reaction that vehemently in repulsion agitates.
Vexation ignited by the inhumane abomination,
Inspiring turbulence in petulance of domination.
When I awake as if from life long nightmares
Anxiety from long suppressed anger tears
Indignation with a vengeance
Retaliates in self-defense.
Aversion is no longer an option
I scream obscenities with emotion.
As the peak continues to elevate
Changes fury to unfurl the hate,
Ferociously explode into the ultimate extreme
Retaining no logic, nor mercy in the space between
The stimuli and my reaction quickly dissipates.
Antagonizing into whirlwinds to compensate
Slicing with the consequences
A welt of despair convalesces.
To summarize this barrage of a volatile constitution;
Depression is the inability to defy institutions
Patriarchal society's fumigation,
Controlling me as female in subjugation.
You recognize the emotion labeled as wrath
Rubesent blood is his soul in the aftermath.
