How developing countries are adapting or preparing to adapt to the impacts of global climate change

Title endorsed in part by:

they have tried somethings to help in global warming causing droughts and one is this. In Sarah Deweerdts article on Africa global warming she said "sparse rainfall in Sahel, an area in Africa along the southern edge of the Sahara Desert. This area has experienced many long droughts, thus to combat these droughts the local government decided to build dams to trap rainfall. These dams were then connected to irrigation systems. Shortly there after harvests increased, as did cases of malaria due to the breeding grounds the dams created for mosquito's. This scenario is a glimpse into the future for the rest of the world, a "view of how global climate change can play havoc with populations' lives and livelihoods," So a long with a good possible plan becomes a catastrophic event Malaria.

Scotland

In Scotland there are grants available to assist in setting up Microrenewables or things to help with fuel and Electricity costs. In Canada we have little or none of these incentives yet. The closest they came was giving a few neon bulbs away to a few people along with a water saver for showers and a few odds and ends. What should be done and quickly is Solar panels for households Country wide. We've been hit with high costs of every type of fuel taxes for no reason so the government is actually in the black as far as revenue is concerned and if they would get out of other Countries and focus on Canada then they could make our country greener. They put the UN in place to deal with the issues in other countries so get them back doing the job they are hired to do. If not then dismantle the UN and stop wasting money on it. Either way we would be in money to help finance solar energy for every person living in country homes. Canada should not let other countries get ahead of them in going green but we should be their leaders.

Population over growth

We could say we are in a population explosion and perhaps that may be one reason why no one seems to complain about wars too much. It does keep the population down a bit but still not enough. What about the increasing amounts of car accidents that kill or maim people world wide; does this help curb the population explosion? The increasing amounts of incurable diseases and what does this effect, if any have on it. Actually we are at more than six billion so since the last time I even looked at population growth we are up 2 billion. By limiting population like China could this help by going to the source, birth control and actually
