Finger exercises for dexterity and speed

From there you try to screw the whole page inwards, and towards you so that it screws itself up from the corner up the page until it is all squeezed tightly together into a tight ball into the palm of your hand now.

Then get a second page, and try it once more again. This is a good one to add suppleness and dexterity, and is a movement that will exercise your whole hand all together even including your forearm muscles.

Concluding Remarks

In conclusion, then you can build up strong hands with a solid grip, and increased flexibility by doing some, or all of these exercises for yourself. Try to incorporate one or two into each and every day, and if you can't well here's a final supplementary one for you to do at night, and just before sleeping.

You don't have to be a religious person to try this supplementary exercise of the prayer position.

Put your hands together palm to palm in a prayer position in front of your chest, and then just press the whole hand together finger tips pushing against fingertips, and palm against palm. Push, and hold the pressure for about 10 to 15 seconds. You should feel this on the insides of your wrists all the way up to your inside finger tips. Repeat this movement several times for a good overall stretch and then try a variation of this same movement in which only your inside fingers and thumbs are touching each other and your palms are now not touching.

If you are slightly double jointed in your finger joints as I am you will find that the stretch is greatly enhanced from making this slight change in the positioning of your hands. This same movement effect can be achieved by going to a bench top that is just above waist high level and by extending your arms out in front of you and placing your both hands palms flat down on top of the bench.

This is the trick however, you place your hands in such a position that your finger tips are facing inwards towards your body. Your forearms are facing towards the ceiling as your hands make a backwards arch while still resting on the bench. You can apply as much stretching as you like in this position and you will feel it very strongly along the insides of your hands, and fingers reaching right up the insides of your forearms as well.

This is a great overall stretch to finish your stretching routine with and that will reconnect all of the parts already stretched all together in this one long stretching movement. When you stretch properly you will feel the blood flowing into the stretched areas and you will feel that they have warmed up a little and that they just feel so relaxed and released from muscle tension and tightness. It's a great feeling that stays with you for quite a few minutes after finishing such a complete routine as this one.
