Can surveys and other online gigs pay your bills? When it comes to that question I can honestly answer no. As a person that has been doing surveys for over two years, I can tell you that you definitely will not get rich, nor will you be able to quit your day job. The most I have made was twenty dollars in over one year of work.
Most surveys you just do not qualify for no matter how much time and effort you put into them. Personally, one company in particular, Note: not naming names here, the most surveys I have qualified for is maybe two the whole time I had been a member of their panel. And, again, I only made twenty dollars, over a year and half of work.
And, recently, I signed up for paid for clicks and the most I have made so far from each company, one in particular, is twenty cents. Of course, I haven't been with them too long and there is a minimum you have to reach in the first place in order to receive your funds. At least twenty five dollars in some cases. And, that I would perceive would take over a year maybe two at the least.
Mainly the point is that I have never been able to consider quitting my job in order to make money online. I work only two days a week currently and make more in one week then I do working over a year in the survey industry. If you think you can be the exception, then think again. You would have be able to find some magic beans at the end of the rainbow first.
Not likely either will happen in this lifetime!
In conclusion, if you think that online gigs are for you, then maybe you ought to consider that the only people who profit are the ones who own the company in the first place. I should know for the way I found about the surveys was through a referral company that charged fifty dollars for a whole year just for the privilege of getting a list of survey companies and getting one penny to read e-mails that have nothing to do with your interests nor are they a good use of your time.
Rarely do you find a jewel in the rough, a company that pays good. I have never found such a company, nor do I expect to. I am being realistic according to my own experiences here and this is my opinion of course. As everyone is entitled to theirs. As always, just be careful of scams out there. I have found a few.
If you wish for more income, try your local yellow pages, you'll find more luck there. Thank you.
