January, so sweet so clear;
Another month, a new year.
Bow to the Honorable Time Keeper.'
And to the feared, Mister Grim Reaper.'
May we please express our gratitude?
And pardon us, if we're being rude.
May we turn the hour glass upside down?
And oversee the construction of another mound.
The gift of time is so elusive in our hands.
Days slip through our fingers like shifting sand.
And all that we're asking of you,
Is for a love that is fair and true.
Let there be someone to light our lives.
Let there be husbands, let there be a wives.
Let there always be the wedding feast.
Let the sun still come up in the East.
As time dances for the rich and the poor;
Nothing is certain, nothing is sure.
Just let love be the constant thing.
And it won't matter what uncertainty brings.
You be the comfort that you're searching for.
No matter how desperate you think you are.
Let love illuminate all your ways.
Let love reign over all your days.
Keep the newness of January alive here
Home in our hearts for the entire year.
The gift of time is unwrapped anew.
Come, cherish the piece allotted for you.
Devour it like cheese, crackers and wine
Or chocolates from your Valentine.
Don't you waste a single minute.
Relish it all and everything in it.
Life is beautiful; life is great.
Learn to enjoy it before it's to late.
Reach for the stars; land on the moon.
Destiny will greet you someday, soon.

I'll still have fun and rule the day
I won't be coarse and spread dismay
Or worry
THE KEY TO ENJOYING LIFE
I want to rely on myself-
Nobody else.
Pick myself up when I fall.
Not count on others
To be my father
I want to quit my job today
And leave this place behind
I want to walk forbidden streets
In the shadows of my mind
I want to
How many days have passed you by
While you frittered away precious time?
Seize life and death you'll defy.
You've sat on the
Where am I?
What is this land I see - where the
dimensions fade and the winds blend with the
sea as if inseparable through
