Even though I am a woman, I do agree that women are the better drivers. For one thing, women hasn't been driving on the road as long as men and therefore can see man's mistakes. If you are a passenger, you may see the possible mistakes that are made by men. I have seen a few mistakes while my husband drove for many years. He had right many small tickets too. I have not had a ticket. I do not want one and planned not to have one.

Another thing I see is men drive too long on the road without stopping for a break. My dad use to say "one needs a break every hundred miles". When we use to go on trips, we wouldn't stop for a break unless one needs a bathroom. Although we enjoyed the scenery if you were tired, man should slow down and live a bit longer.

I have not had the experiences as my husband but I hope I am a better driver. Even though my son-and-law says I am too careful. He is just picking, I hope. It is scary on the open road where cars go over the speed limit most of the time. No one signals any more either.

The only wreck I have had is someone behind me following me too closely. My husband has had a few. Why do men drive so fast?

The world needs to slow down and take it easy if they want to live longer. Since man has more years on them as far as driving goes, that doesn't mean they drive better. Just the opposite is true.

According to the Internet studies men have had more accidents too. Even the insurance is better for women than men. Why? Insurance studies have shown that women don't have as many accidents. Women want to slow down. Man does not.

Even though I get frustrated too, man has more road rages. They get mad at us women for signaling wrong at a light when they do not signal at all. Wouldn't that cause more accidents?
Why don't people especially men signal any more?

Women are better drivers in my mind. Say it is raining on the road, the rule book says to slow down for conditions. To man's mind that means speeds up, therefore an accident is apparent or nearly so.

Another thing that man generally does that shouldn't be done is drinking while driving. Only thing that should be allowed can be something like juice, tea, coffee or possible soft drink.
Water would wake one as well. In fact, this would be preferred since it makes one need a bathroom and therefore man has to stop for that reason if nothing else.

Usually man smokes more as well. I really wasn't aware that this could make driving more hazardous. The article I was looking at on the Internet implied that driving is impaired more by men smokers than women.

Women are more sharper and therefore see better in color than men which was interesting to me.
I am surprised by this thought but the article I read on this subject pointed out that men are more color blinded than women which made driving that much harder on the men.

I have not seen a record of this either but I think man has more cell phones than woman and therefore talks on it while driving. I do think this talking on the phone while driving shouldn't be allowed even as adults. I do not talk to any one. If my daughter wants me and she calls and I answers it. It is off the road or stopped.

Women are better drivers than men. Why? They are more careful. Women usually have to be more careful because they have the baby in the back in the car seat. Men seldom have to drive with the baby in the back in the car seat.
