"These Friends"

These best friends love each other
They'd do anything for one another
Everyday they'd be together
Inseparable, they were

And people envied them
They wish they had a best friend
That'd act like they always did
They always tried their best
To create some sort of problem

And it always backfired
Eventually they got tired
Of trying to play with fire

Because these friends love each other

They'd do anything for one another

But one day the boyfriend
Of Dana kisses
Her best friend Marie
And Dana glances in misery

So she walks away
Doesn't notice Marie slap his face
And she tries to find Dana and
Tell her what had happened

"Oh I understand
You kissed my boyfriend!"
"No I didn't! He went to me!"
"No he didn't! How much proof must I see?!"

The argument went on and on
For days neither talked at all
It's been two weeks
Problems still unsolved
Both of them repeatedly have dreams
Of one day solving it all

Because these friends love each other
They'd do anything for one another

And Dana feels hurt for losing
Her dear and beloved boyfriend
However, Marie feels guilty
for allowing such a dramatic event

Next day a group of girls
Walk up to Dana at school
They begin by saying to her
"Oh you're such a fool"

"What do you mean?"
"Oh no reason
Actually, yes, we broke you up finally
It was a bet and for us he did it."
"Why would you do such a thing"

"Because of you and Marie"
"Nonsense! Listen to me
Me and her are best friends
And we'll be that until the end

Respect and friendship is gained
By improving the qualities of ways
Of acting every single day
By acting more decently
We can improve destructions recently
You choose to have respect
You choose if you want to live a mess

You all can have a friendship
One like e and her do
You can all feel that sensation
Of feeling loved too."

"... you're right
Sorry it turned out like this."
"Don't worry I'll be fine"
"You won't if you don't run after your friend"

And hose friends love each other
They'd do anything for one another

So Dana rushes to find Marie
She asks for forgiveness
Marie refuses reluctantly

"Look. Sorry for not believing yo
I'm sure you would've done that too
But deep that you know we're still friends
That's something we can never forget
The most important fact
Please. Let's just pretend
Like this never happened."

"... ... Promise you'll start believing me"
"I promise only you I'll believe."
"Even more than boyfriends?"
"Yes you're more valuable than them."
