Where has my life gone?
Swallowed up by this machine.
Churning, spinning, tossed around,
sliding down a deep ravine.
Memories swimming, youth lapsing,
unable to turn back now.
Trapped within immense regret,
perplexed by the why and how.
Tortured by love or solitude,
it never seemed just right.
Exhausting my entire soul,
to win a futile fight.
A subtle glance in the mirror,
the reflection tells a story.
Lines once thought as faded youth,
now speak a tale of glory.
My life's been filled with ups and downs,
but I've bravely faced each day.
To know I've been a survivor,
nothing can stand in my way.
The passing years are my honor,
I cannot reflect with disdain.
Holding my head high, I persevere,
my journey will not be in vain.
