NITTY GRITTY BENEFITS OF YOGURT
1. Boosts immune system and increases resistance against infections. Yogurt revved up the immune system of producing antibodies and other infection fighting agents. The laccobacillus bulgaricus in yogurt made killer cells rise that combat infection that tripled the amount of interferon manufactured by the cells. Interferon is one of the bodies natural infection fighting agents that has been found effective against a wide range of infections. When adding yogurt to your diet you will improve immune functioning both locally and systemically in the digestive tract and in the bloodstream. This indicates that yogurt helps not only intestinal infections but other infections throughout the body.
2. Longevity, Wow! That means you will live longer! Cool, man.
3. Intestinal, colon cancer, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, diarrhea were cured when taking a preparation of lactobacillus acidophilus (which is one of the common bacteria to ferment milk. so antibiotics didn't work but the concentrated lactobacillus acidophilus capsules cured them.
Also, there is acidophilus milk which is a liquid yogurt fermented by bacteria that blocks cell changes in humans that cause colon cancer. The acidophilus bacteria actually stops the conversion within the colon of natural substances into dangerous cancer causing agents.
I had a friend who would get diarrhea after eating and would run to the bathroom until someone told her about these capsules. Man, that was a relief for her as having diarrhea had made her so tired, exhausted and she couldn't go anywhere. Now she is free to visit, shop, eat in restaurants without any problem.

DR SHAHANI'S HOMEMADE YOGURT

Boil a quart of milk
Let simmer a few minutes
Add 2 or 3 Tablespoons of old yogurt
containing L. Bulgaricus and streptococcus thermophilus cultures (purchase at health store)
Mix throughly
Cover and put in the oven without turning on the heat.
Remove when thickened
Add salt and pepper and/or cumin seeds.

MY FAVORITE HEALTHY YOGURT SNACK
========================= ========
1/2 cup of plain yogurt in a small glass
1/2 cup of blueberries or a combination of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
1/2 cup of sherbet your favorite
1/4 cup of plain yogurt
Top with wheat germ and sunflower seeds
I prepare 7 of these in a small airtight container and freeze.
I take out a 1/2 hour before meals.
This makes a great bedtime snack.
Tt is already prepared and just ready to eat.
Yum! Yum!
