Optimizing your website will help drive traffic to your website from search engines.

Blog marketing. While blogs can certainly be used to make money or to spread an idea in their own right, blogs can also be used to promote and drive traffic to your website. You can link to your website from a blog, or use your blog to talk about the various products or pages on your website. In some cases, you may find that you are actually more effective with your blog than you were with the website you were trying to drive traffic to in the beginning.
