The most anticipated games of 2008. Where to begin? There are many a title coming out in 2008 it's hard to find one to start with. But, as they say, you've got to start somewhere. So let's begin with Valves latest production.

Left 4 Dead:

This first person shooter was produced by Valve, the company most notably known for the "Half-Life" and "Counter-Strike" series. This particular action game, set to release September of this year, has caught the eye of many FPS fans. This game takes place in a apocalyptic world, where four survivors battle to live from a worldwide plague that has converted most of the human population into flesh eating zombies.

This game sets out to do for co-op survival what counterstrike did for team combat. This game is one to eight players, having four survivors and four zombies per team, with intelligent computer AI to fill in the gaps. This game looks very interesting for anyone who enjoys team survival, or squad tactics games. And especially if your zombie fans as I am.

Dead Island:

Dead Island is a game created by the Polish studio Techland, also known for their creation of "Call of Juarez". It is another FPS (First Person Shooter) based off of the zombie survival genre. You play a character that is on the way to a dream island with their fiance for their honeymoon.

Your plane crashes into the ocean and you scramble to an island which appears to be inhabited by a motley assortment of survivors and the walking dead. This game boasts advanced AI and a completely new physics engine to bring the world to life. Along with that, it claims that every decision that is made by the player has some affect on the island as a whole.

Fable 2:

Fable 2 is the sequel to the Lionhead Studios extremely popular "Fable". Set 500 years after the original title, Fable 2 hopes to give the player more choices, a more dynamic game experience, and more customization and control over the character and the world.

Fable 2 hopes that one can pick exactly how they want their character to be, and exactly the life they want to live, and Lionhead is trying to give the players that freedom in this upcoming title.
