roared with sarcastic laughter. "Look how he begs!" They taunted him.

They shackled him to their horses and drug him back into the city where he was thrown into a dungeon, whipped and tortured and eventually crucified on a cross outside the city gates.

Instead of Christ'

Because he was against Christ,'

The angels in the garden had been sent to refashion the face of Judas to make him look like Jesus.

This was confirmed when the mother of Jesus, called Mary, was seen at the foot of the cross and when it was said to her, "Woman behold thy son." Her response was to declare that indeed, this was not her son.

Mary was not weeping for she had beheld the back of the man on the cross and his special mark was not there. She knew it was not him and was comforted by God in her understanding that he had been protected and was still alive.

Word spread among the people that Jesus was indeed still alive. The Roman authorities were very distraught to think they had crucified the wrong man and so they opened the tomb on the third day in order to prove to themselves and the people that they had crucified their Christ. When they entered, they found no body whatsoever in the grave. The tomb was empty.

Jesus was seen later that same day in the streets of Jerusalem and very shortly thereafter was taken, body and all, up into heaven.

Jesus remains alive to this day, and will return to usher in the kingdom of God on earth, for he truly is the Messiah.

So, what happened to the body of Judas?

Well, his face became a hideous disgrace and he was taken in chains to a place where he is being held until he returns to earth as the antichrist.

Though his powers have not been unleashed, his work began at the cross. His betrayal of Christ and his death as an imposter of Christ have lead Christians so far away from the real teachings of Jesus that they will not be recognized as Christians on the day of Christ's return, but will instead be seen as those deceived by the betrayer of Christ, Biblically known as "the antichrist."

One of the signs of the antichrist is his ability to deceive even the good among human beings. Holy books say that many believers will be taken astray by him and will fall into his trap. Belief in the death of Christ as a necessary sacrifice is the beginning of this deception.

Continued complacency and focus on falsehood keeps Christians from the real Truth of Christ and his followers. The belief that Jesus died for their sins' removes accountability. Accountability, for most people, is
