If there is one country in the world with its heart in the right place, it is the Kingdom of Tibet. Its culture is based upon non-violence to all living beings. It is a cornerstone of the teachings of the lord Buddha, called Ahimsa. Tibet is a beautiful and humble nation. The only commodity it ever produced was that of respect for all of life, and a vast treasure and catalogue of occult and spiritual knowledge. Lahasa sits upon the roof of the world like a precious jewel. Its spiritual kingdom known to many as Shambala is the sacred heritage of all mankind. Its occupation, exploitation, and destruction by China shall in the end not result in its loss, but shall undo the foundations of a great world power, that will share the judgment of the previous Soviet Union. Its vast geographical boundaries will flower forth with many nations and all man shall reap this bounty.
Today man finds himself in the community of nations. However, that community is divided, silent, and seemingly unable to address and confront its common ills.
Governments must be synonymous with the right of the people to self-rule and must exist by that sanction only. Without this framework, we will always see the rise of unlawful and abusive power. Unlawful power is a threat to any community whether of people or nations. Unchecked, we can look forward to an endless cycle of conflict.
Mercantilism, industrialization, and modern consumption have been the mighty springboard for our phenomenal material and social success. However, the laws of nature have ensured that this is a self-limiting process.
Man must now turn his vision and efforts towards civic and social progress. Neglect this further and we are in danger of losing all that we have so dearly gained.
National sovergnity is an established fact of our modern world. That is not to say there are still nations yet to be formed. However, the extension of power, one over another, must be by collective consent and for a common good. It should not be for the aggrandizement of a national or religious selfhood or the naked destruction of a people or its culture for the bloated purpose of self-power and wealth.
Since when has the community of equal nations had to sit idly by and be insulted by fellow members. Since when are we to tolerate inhumane and barbaric behavior.
There is no imperial decree that one may stand above another with impunity. If someone insults me I wish to know his name and name him.
