I have passed the test.

My life has been a symphony of tragedy and pain
And through the things I've overcome, I never thought I'd gain
An ounce of hope, security, or balance, peace and rest,
But through the pain I've overcome, I have passed the test.

The tests in life are challenges and God wants us to see
that only with a thankful heart will we begin to be
The kind of people who can share with others what's God's best,
So through the pain I've overcome,and I have passed the test.

And I will sing a song of hope, encouragement and peace,
That those who hear will find in Christ a love, a blessed release.
So though through many toils and snares, I've tried to do my best
By only leaning in His arms is how I passed the test.
