As with all Kevin Smith films, the one time that Silent Bob speaks is the part that will stay with you the longest. This last line of a much longer quote perfectly sums up my own search for someone who would be just like the "one who got away." I know logically that we romanticize our past relationships, but logic doesn't always trump emotion. And in some ways, yes, I'm still chasing Amy.

Bill Murray goes on this hilarious rant the night before the final day of the Olympiad between the rich kids at camp Mohawk and the misfits of Camp North Star. Over the years I've seen that the line about the really good looking girls going for the guys with money is at least partially true, especially when I was younger. But it's the rallying cry in the midst of the defeatism (like Belushi's quote above) that makes it memorable. You will often lose when facing long odds, but you can still lose with style.
