The best ways to learn how to maintain a computer

After buying a computer you start working on it and it's the fastest computer in the world. It loads nearly instantly and all the programs and Internet Explorer runs smoothly. After some weeks or some months of use you start noticing the performance is going down to the point you have to wait a long time every time you want to open a new program. Why does this happen?

Windows works with some hidden files and many other things that you probably never heard about. To start with the explanation you must understand what temporary files are. Windows while running creates some files that use temporarily but after the task being completed it continues to keep the files there and they will never be used anymore. Why does this happens? Windows is not perfect. That's why.

Sometimes you need to clean such files for yourself or you can get a professional program to do it for you. Why doesn't Microsoft repair this issue or make a program to clean the Windows? Microsoft wants profits and it needs to release new Windows versions quickly and needs to keep staff number at the minimum possible. Some things can be skipped and the costumer will have to handle some problems by itself. A good program to clean temporary files is Tune Up Utilities. It's a professional paid program designed to speed up the entire system. It also can change the loading screen and the welcoming screen and even icons and the theme. A cool program to show your buddies.

Now with the temporary files cleaned you need to clean some other things. The registry is one of the most important key files that keeps Windows running properly but sometimes it crashes and you might have to say goodbye to the computer. Again use Tune Up Utilities to clean and repair this key file of Windows. Now another thing that you can do right now is to run Scan Disk and Windows Defrag. These programs will analyze the disk for potential problems and will defragment the files to run them faster. If you want a professional solution I recommend Diskeeper. It's the best program to keep your hard disk running at peak performance all the time.
