Global Warming huh? The Green Religion

Here in Central Oregon we just passed through a typical winter and are now experiencing a typical spring where we have days that you actually can go out without a coat and be comfortable, then in same week you have to shovel the sidewalks and drive carefully to work because there is three inches of snow on the ground. So is this global warming'?

We are not the only ones in the nation experiencing normal to cold weather this year, and last, and the years before that and then guess what happens in the summer things get warmer oh no global warming!

How about this - the weather changes. Sometimes its hot; sometimes its cool; sometimes the oceans effect the weather like the el Nio or la Nia deal.

When I was a kid in the 70s I remember the scare everyone at any cost group, which is also the intolerant tolerance group, crowing about global cooling and how we were entering a new ice age and other assorted non-substantiated crap. Did a new ice age ever start? If it did I missed it. It was this same bunch who was telling all of us kids in school that ya know the sun is going to burn out one of these days' like it was going to happen tomorrow. They never bothered to add, or they did it in such a way as to make it almost disassociated from the previous assertion, that it was going to be millions of years from now why do they have to do that?

Anyway, I have to wonder why these goof balls have to push this global cooling/global warming junk off on us, and I realize there is a common denominator they always go to its all man made due to industrialization and yada, yada, yada'. When you consider this argument then reason along a little further you realize they are not only against industrialization, but by extension they are against the United States, which is the most industrially advanced society on the planet.

I have yet to figure out why these people, who by and large are American citizens, are against the US, but they certainly seem to be.

And while I am hovering around the subject, what is with the de-constructionists? They are against the development of technology right? But there are such hypocrites, because they usually have a period of time that they think is okay, back in the past, which since Grog figured out that picking up a stick and banging it against the shell of a nut would get the meat out where he could eat it, man has had technology. Grog's club was technology; a manual typewriter is technology; a Cray supercomputer is

In the 50's there was no worry about clean water or air. We took it for granted. There was no oil crisis and no food shortages.
